Every thought of you
A prayer that goes out to you
Hoping you can hear me
See me
Guide me on my way
I miss you
And haven't seen you in my dreams
For a while
But I know you stalk beside me
Behind me
Set me on my path
The periphery plays tricks on me
Shadows that may be you
Not there to frighten me
But to remind me of your presence
Your eyes gazing into mine
Only I don't see them
The invisibility of your power
Over me
Surrounding me
Protecting me with light and mirrors
Until the day I hold you
In my arms again
And see the ocean in your eyes again
Every thought a prayer
To keep you near
As you guide me on my way
And I make my amends
